"Not Enough Houses, Too Many Builders"

Danny's a Leave voter who gave James a striking reason for his vote: 'There are not enough houses...and too many builders.'
The call lasted a full 10 minutes, as James and bricklayer Danny went back and forth on Britain's historic decision to leave the EU - and the reasons why.
The caller who argued that we've got "too many builders" (sleeping six to a room etc) but "not enough houses" seemed to sum it up best...— James O'Brien (@mrjamesob) June 24, 2016
Danny talked about how difficult British construction workers were finding it, but then made a point that James had to pick him up on: the claim that we haven't got enough houses but we do have too many builders.
"I'm asking to manage and control our immigration," said Danny.
"But you use building as your example of where are too many people," said James. "Now you're telling me that we haven't got enough houses, but we've got too many builders."
Danny admitted that he did say that, but then got personal in an attack on James where he urged the presenter to "put the Guardian down".
Watch the rest of their exchange above, it sparked quite a reaction from James's listeners:
@mrjamesob That was extraordinary. Sums up in a nutshell (to me anyway) how we got to where we are now.— Michael Collins (@m1kecollins) June 24, 2016

@mrjamesob Spent a minute trying to decipher that obscure metaphor before I realised.— Jim probably (@jamesdraper) June 24, 2016
