Tim Farron is the leader of the Liberal Democrats.

He has been the Member of Parliament for Westmorland and Lonsdale since 2005 and was the President of the Liberal Democrats from 2011 to 2015.

He beat Norman Lamb in the Lib Dem leadership contest following Nick Clegg's resignation.

He is married to Rosemary and has two daughters and two sons. He is a committed Christian.
