SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon brands a Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson coalition a "scary" prospect that "nobody in Scotland wants to see."

Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon compared the possible alliance between the Brexit Party leader and the Prime Minister to a Halloween monster.

She told LBC News it did not matter if there was a formal deal between Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson "everybody knows the Tory party is currently morphing into the Brexit Party."

During a world exclusive interview with LBC, the US President told Nigel Farage he has a great relationship with world leaders, "including Boris."

Mr Trump said: "He is a fantastic man and I think he is the exact right guy for the times and I know that you and him will end up doing something that could be terrific.

"If you and he get together, you know, unstoppable force and Corbyn would be so bad for your country."

The SNP leader said that was the future "unless Scotland positively and actively chooses an alternative."

She was clear the only way forward for Scotland was independence, she told LBC News the country should vote "to escape the Brexit horror show and instead puts our future into our own hands."
