Man dies at Green Park Tube station minutes after 'woman he knew' found dead in Brent

Police are investigating after a man died at Green Park tube station just ten minutes after a woman who he knew was found dead at home in Brent.

The woman, in her 20s, was found dead in a property on Ambleside Road, Brent, on Thursday just after 12pm.

Just 12 minutes later, officers were called to Green Park station where a man in his 30s had died.

They said the pair were known to each other, although formal identification has not taken place.

A spokesman said: “Detectives are investigating following the death of a man and woman on Thursday, 10 October.

“Police were called to a residential address in Ambleside Road, Brent at 12:07hrs following reports of a death at the property.

“Officers attended and found a woman, believed to be aged in her 20s, deceased. Police are in the process of informing her next of kin.

“A post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the cause of death. Formal identification awaits.

“At 12:19hrs on Thursday, police were informed by British Transport Police of the death of a man on the underground at Green Park. His death is not being treated as suspicious.

“The man, aged in his 30s, was known to the woman found dead in Ambleside Road. Formal identification awaits.

“Enquiries into the full circumstances continue.”
