"I'd love to take my family to join Islamic State," admits Khan in Ilford in a jaw-dropping call to Iain Dale.
Claiming that Islamic State were "freedom fighters" - a claim that Iain laughed at - Khan continued his diatribe, accusing the West of "demonising" IS.
"Demonising Islamic State?" asked an incredulous Iain. "I don't have to try very hard to do that!
"They are terrorists!"
But Khan continued to defend the appalling actions of the group, which has beheaded numerous innocent British and American journalists and aid workers. They've also murdered gay people by pushing them off cliffs - something Iain challenged Khan on.
"Who are they fighting for freedom for?" the LBC presenter asked him. "Chucking gay people off a building...how does that help them fight for freedom?
"You seem to be defending everything that ISIS do!"
Then Iain asked Khan if he would ever consider travelling to join and fight for Islamic State. The answer was a real shocker, take a listen to the full exchange above.
