Alan Mullery: Very Good Chance England Will Reach World Cup Final

The former England player believes England has a "very good chance" of reaching the World Cup final, but warns fans will be "absolutely devastated" if the team loses.

Alan Mullery told Ian Payne that it would be great for fans to go to a semi-final match as it "hasn't been done for many years".

The former England player said that the current squad have "played so well" and that it is likely they will reach the final next Sunday.

But he warned: "If they get beaten at the final they will be absolutely devastated."

He said: "Nothing's easy in a World Cup match, everything is extremely hard."

England beat Sweden 2-0 in the quarter finals, landing them a place in the semi finals.

The team has not reached the last four for 28 years.
