Why don’t bottles of alcohol provide nutritional values on the label?

Answer: In the EU nutritional value labels are voluntary and not imposed. Many alcohol producers don’t include the nutrition on alcohol products due to fears that consumers would be put off because of high calorie and carbohydrate content. Producers are obliged to provide the alcohol percentage on every bottle.
