Five arrested after police find £2.5 million worth of cannabis plants in rural Suffolk village

Five men have been arrested after 2,000 cannabis plants worth £2.5 million were found in a small village in Suffolk.
Officers found the Class B drugs after raiding a unit in a business park in Great Bricett on Friday.
They also found extensive hydroponics equipment and associated electrical paraphernalia.
Five men aged between 25 and 65 were arrested on suspicion of the production of cannabis and were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Ovidijus Urbonas, 40, Egidijus Ivoskus, 41, Karolis Gumauskas, 25 and Mindaugas Ivoskus, 26, were subsequently charged with the production of cannabis.
They appeared before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Monday and were remanded ahead of their next hearing.
The 65-year-old man was released on bail until 13 November pending further enquiries.
