'Drunk girlfriend' crashes into shopping trolley bay in Tesco car park
27 December 2019, 14:28
Police issued a plea to drivers after a "drunk girlfriend" recklessly smashed a car into a Tesco shopping trolley bay.
Police were called to a supermarket in Cricklewood around 3am on Friday after the black Nissan GT-R smashed into a street light and demolished the trolley shelter.
Barnet Met Police Service wrote on Twitter: "Please don’t let your drunk girlfriend drive a car dangerously around a Tesco car park for fun when she has no licence/insurance.
"Otherwise when she crashes, police will attend and arrest her. They will also arrest you when it transpires there is a warrant for your arrest."
