Moment house is set ablaze after being hit by lightning in freak UK storm

This is the moment a home was set ablaze after it was hit by a bolt of lightning during a freak storm.
Firefighters were called to the incident on Kirkwall Road in Plymouth at 8:35pm last night.
The house was hit by a lighning bolt during a freak storm which saw multiple lightning strikes and huge thunder clouds across East Devon and Cornwall.
The lightning set the house's roof and first floor on fire, sending a huge plume of smoke across the city.
The occupants are all safe and no one was injured in the incident.
Devon and Somerset fire rescue said in a statemnet: "Fire appliances from Crownhill, Camels Head and Greenbank raced to the scene of a fire where it is believed lightning had struck a house and set fire to the roof.
"Crews soon requested further assistance as they made pumps six, and additional appliances from Plympton and Crownhill were sent, along with the aerial ladder platform from Crownhill, incident command unit from Totnes, incident support unit from Bovey Tracey and supervisory officers.
"This was a fire in in a semi detached property involving the roof space, with all persons accounted for.
"Six firefighters were wearing breathing apparatus and the fire was being extinguished using two hose reel jets and one main jet."
