Three arrested after Lambeth stabbing

Three men have been arrested after a teenager was stabbed in Lambeth, south London on Thursday afternoon.

Police were called at 13:30 today to reports of a stabbing on Millbrook Road, Lambeth, just a short walk away from Brixton police station.

A male, believed to be 16 years old, was found suffering from stab injuries when police and ambulance workers arrived at the scene.

The victim has been taken to hospital and his injuries are believed to be life threatening.

Three males have been arrested and taken into custody.

A section 60 has also been put in place, meaning police have the right to use stop and search powers around Tulse Hill, Brixton Hill, Coldharbour, Ferndale, Vassell, Herne Hill, Stockwell and Larkhall from 15:30hrs to 06:30hrs on Friday 25 October.
