Nigel Farage Talks

When a survey of 10,000 Europeans showed 56 percent would support an immigration ban on citizens from Muslim countries, Nigel Farage railed against the idea.

A recent poll conducted by Chatham House revealed over half of people living in Europe would be in favour of a Donald Trump style travel ban.

Although Nigel has fought vigorously in favour of tougher immigration rules, he revealed he would “never ever suggest” a total ban on allowing citizens from the seven mainly Muslim countries into Britain.

Speaking on his LBC show, he said: “I have spent much of my political career arguing that immigration should be controlled.

“Fighting and saying we must be careful about allowing terrorists into our country and we need to vet carefully, but I myself would never ever suggest that we should totally banned people ever coming to Britain to settle from those countries.

“All that Donald Trump tried to do was to put in a 90 day suspension whilst they worked out what the vetting should be.”
