A man has been charged as part of a Scotland Yard investigation into anti-Semitic hate crime after an internal Labour dossier was passed on to police by LBC.

Police said today that an individual from Birmingham had been charged after the dossier was handed to Cressida Dick live on Nick Ferrari’s show on LBC in 2018.

The internal party dossier contained allegations of anti-Semitic offences by members of the Labour Party.

Police said Mohson Rasool, 60, from Birmingham had been charged with an offence under the Communications Act as part of a police investigation into alleged anti-Semitism by Labour activists.

He will appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on March 25, the Metropolitan Police said.

Four other people will face no further action, the force said. Inquiries continue in relation to another six.
