A 26-year-old man has been charged with the murder after Exauce Ngimbi, 22, was stabbed to death in Hackney.

Mr Ngimbi, was found with stab wounds in Clarence Mews, Hackney, at 2.01pm on Thursday, Scotland Yard said.

Despite efforts from paramedics, he later died of his injuries.

Kieran Brown, 26, of Hackney was charged in the early hours of Saturday with murder and possession of a pointed or bladed article.

The other three people arrested have been bailed as investigations continue and Brown will appear in Thames Magistrates' Court later on Saturday.

Mr Ngimbi's death was part of a day of violence in the capital in which three people were killed within 12 hours.

Muhammed Abdullah Al Araimi was killed near Harrods in Knightsbridge shortly after midnight on Thursday, and another man was killed in Deptford, south-east London.
