Horrified Shoppers Witness Mass Brawl At Birmingham Bridal Shop

Four people were injured when a fight broke out inside a bridal shop in Birmingham.

Police have arrested four people as carnage broke out at a bridal shop in Birmingham.

Three of the arrested were treated in hospital for minor injuries, while the fourth remains in hospital with a fractured eye socket.

Two men, one aged 24 and the other of unknown age; and two women, aged 22 and 46, were injured in the incident.

Witnesses described seeing metal poles being used in the commotion, as onlookers gathered outside the shop as the violence erupted on Saturday evening.

A police tent was erected outside the store entrance as officers investigated the cause of the commotion.

In a statement, a police spokesperson said: "A number of people were reported to have been fighting with weapons.

"We believe it to be an isolated incident, but investigations are continuing.

"Three people were treated in hospital for minor injuries, and have been arrested.

"A fourth person remains in hospital with a fractured eye socket and is also under arrest."
