A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man have been charged over a double shooting in Ilford, east London.

Two men in their 20s were left in a critical condition after the attack on Courtland Avenue on September 28. Their condition has since improved.

The teenager, from Newham, has been charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit murder and appeared at Stratford Magistrates' Court on October 31.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey at a later date.

Fadeen Mirza, 20, also of Newham, was arrested on Monday and charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit murder.

He will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
