A severely autistic 17-year-old male from Eltham who went missing on Sunday night has been found safe and well.

He is a slim white male, 6ft 2ins tall and at the time of his disappearance he was wearing a black plain t-shirt, beige/tan trousers with black boots.

Joshua is known to have a fascination with tall buildings and crowded or busy locations.

Officers are following up reports that Joshua may be travelling on the DLR and would appeal to anyone who has seen him to call police immediately.

His mother Sarah Wills told LBC: "He is incredibly vulnerable and has the social and emotional age of a 3 - 5 year old.

"There has been several sightings but Joshua has run away from people trying to help as he would be frightened. Last sighting was at Westferry Station near Poplar East London at around 11pm last night.

Police are increasingly concerned for Joshua's wellbeing and would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
