Answer: There are two ways to get decaffeinated coffee. The first method is to take green coffee beans and immerse them in a solvent which dissolves the caffeine and extracts decaffeinated coffee. The other method is called the ‘Swiss water method’ and is completed by heating up the coffee beans and extracting through osmosis.
