A 17-year-old boy has been stabbed in Walthamstow, east London, Scotland Yard has said.

Police were called to Carisbrooke Road in Walthamstow at 6.41pm on Sunday evening to reports of a stabbing.

The 17-year-old boy was found with stab wounds and has been taken to hospital.

Police are awaiting an update on his condition. No arrests have yet been been made, and a crime scene remains in place

Met Police have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call police on 101, quoting CAD 5989/03 Nov.
