The new chocolate flavour cornflakes have been recalled because of ‘small hard lumps’ that could cause ‘harm’ to consumers.

The food giant warned the hard lumps could cause “dental harm” or potentially be a choking hazard

The product recall has been issued for boxes of the cereal with best before dates  from December 6, 2024 to April 28, 2025.

Shoppers who have purchased a box with a best before date that is included in the recall are advised to contact Kellogg’s for a refund.

Kellogg’s said: “We have become aware of a very low level of small hard lumps forming in our new Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Chocolate Flavour. These hard lumps of food could cause dental harm or be a choking hazard and as a precaution we are recalling this product.”
