The digital mobile-based bank Monzo is experiencing issues with its platform, causing problems for users trying to withdraw cash and make payments.

Monzo posted a message on its website apologising for the inconvenience.

It says the technical issues affect the Monzo app, card payments, inbound bank transfers, outbound bank transfers and cash deposits.

Some users are complaining of issues with the Monzo app on Twitter.
