Nick Ferrari Vs Stop The War Over Russia's Syrian Bombs

12 October 2016, 11:10

Russia's actions in Syria are causing outrage. Murad Qureshi is the chair of Stop the War and Nick has a simple question for him: why aren't there thousands of them protesting outside the Russian Embassy?

First off, Nick asked Murad what demonstrations or actions they had mounted against Russia, to mark their objection to Vladimir Putin's controversial bombing in Syria.

"We had...a big conference where we condemned all bombing, whether from Syria, Russia, the US or the UK," said the Stop the War man.

"I'm sure that had Russia quaking in its boots!" replied Nick.

"Our focus is on what British government and British policy is."

"So just to get the title, really, of your organisation, it's Stop The War that involves Britain Coalition. Any other war you don't care about."

Murad's response: "The reality about the Russian Embassy demonstration is that is a private road."

Nick: "So you can't form any form of demonstration or protest because it's a private road? Gee, you've got teeth! I'm really frightened!"
