Nick Ferrari Schools Caller Who Criticised Police Over Pre-Carnival Arrests
23 August 2017, 08:37 | Updated: 23 August 2017, 08:57
This caller told Nick Ferrari that he was wrong to praise the police for their arrests before the Notting Hill Carnival - but it didn't go well for him.
Richard in Enfield said the arrests in Catford were wrong because the police didn't do similar raids before other festivals like Glastonbury or Wireless.
He disagreed with Nick that the Carnival had more crime than the other festivals.
But Nick had done his research and closed down the argument pretty quickly.
Nick said: "Shall I talk to you about the 2016 Notting Hill Carnival? Did you know, there was a record number of arrests."
Richard insisted that was because the police were perpetuating violence at Carnival, but Nick had a great answer for that as well.
