A former CIA chief who was in charge of Russian operations says he was dumbfounded when President Trump appeared to side with Vladimir Putin over his own intelligence services.
Steve Hall told Tom Swarbrick that he "just felt sick" when Donald Trump met with Vladimir Putin in Helsiniki last month.
He said: "As a former intelligence officer myself, it's not only disheartening, it's shocking."
Mr Hall, who was formally in charge of Russian operations at the CIA, said he was "dumbfounded" and "just felt sick about it."
"This is the guy in charge of our national security standing up to an adversary who's been attacking us."
